To make things easy for you, we have compiled a list of important items for you to pa
- Linen, Doona or Sleeping bag (Linen is NOT provided)
- Pillow (pillows are NOT provided)
- Towels
- Plenty of T-shirts and socks
- Deodorant
- Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and shampoo
- Walking shoes. Please bring comfortable shoes for walking around camp. Running shoes or tennis shoes are excellent. Please change into your dance shoes before each class to help keep the floors clean.
- Multiple pairs of dance shoes. Three of the classroom floors are wood, with different finishes, and one lino. Please bring as many pairs of dance shoes as possible, since some floors are slicker than others and sometimes if your knees or feet get tired you'll want something with good support.
- Runners for Aerials classes
- We do not permit talcum powder or other powders on any classroom or dance floors, for safety reasons. Please do not bring powder for the floors.
- A water bottle
- Pens and paper
- Camera (plus film/memory sticks, flash, and batteries!)
- Band-Aids
- Warm PJ's to sleep in.
- A hat for the sun and a warm hat in case it's chilly…
- Cold weather and warm weather clothes (For the interstaters and international guests… Melbourne is renowned for 4 seasons in one day)
- Snacks eg: Nuts, dried fruit, chocolate, etc…
- Some dressier dance clothes for the Friday and Sunday night dances
- Glitter outfit for the Glitter Ball
- Hair & makeup products to beautify yourself for the dance parties
- Casual & comfortable clothes for dance classes during the day
- Dance or other videos to watch in the wee hours of the morning
- Musical instruments ie guitar/harmonica/tambourine/bongo drums!
- Postcards to send to all the people that aren’t coming to tell them what an ace time you are having!

From Interstate
Flying into Tullamarine Airport

If you are flying in to Tullamarine you can take the Gull bus to Geelong. (About an hour from Angelsea). Cost is $35 one way or $55 return. You can find their details at gull.com.au. Let us know what time you'll be in Geelong and we will arrange a pick up for you.
Otherwise let us know your flight itinerary and we'll endeavour to organise a Melbourne person to pick you up from the airport and take you to the venue.
Of course the more notice you give us, the more chance we'll have of organising it!
Flying into Avalon Airport near Geelong (usually Jetstar flights).
If you are coming from Avalon airport you can take a bus straight to camp.
Call Avalon Airport Shuttle on 0425 798 138, or check out their details at avalonairportshuttle.com.au.
They meet all flights and will drop you at the door. Cost is $45 each way.
From Melbourne
Driving to Anglesea Recreation Camp

Anglesea Recreation Camp is located one and a half hours drive from Melbourne just off the Great Ocean Road approaching Anglesea from Geelong.
It is located on the corner of Inverlochy Street and the Great Ocean Road, opposite the CFA.
- Go across the Westgate Bridge (please be careful of the new speed cameras.... AND the speed limit is variable so please check the signs on the bridge)
- Head towards Geelong
- Turn LEFT following the signs to The Great Ocean Road/Torquay
- Follow the signs to Torquay and then to Anglesea / Lorne
- Continue down the windy road/hill until you see 3 signs on the LEFT HAND SIDE of the road
